The special blend of rich, flavoursome curries, tandooris, rotis and Basmati rice make Punjabi Cuisine one of the most popular regional cuisines throughout India and the world over. Spices such as coriander, cumin, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and red chilli powder, turmeric and mustard are regularly used in Punjabi Cuisine. However, these spice do not dominate the dish but instead gently promote the primary ingredient, meat, fish or vegetables.
